My career spans more years than I care to admit, in fields as diverse as Retail (Managing and buying), Restaurant and Entertainment, Commercial Transport, Direct Sales and Information Technology.

I have over Fourteen Years of Experience in the Information Technology sector, managing teams of IT experts and facing business customers ranging from CEO’s to Floor Traders. I have been a featured speaker at web and technology seminars and I have mentored many team members to help them grow and succeed.

Today I am a professional with outstanding technical expertise and proven ability to advice on hardware platforms, operating systems and application selections based on customer needs and operating budgets. In addition I am a seasoned team leader who knows how to get the best out of people as an expert Relationship Manager with unusually strong skills in building trust, delivering value and creating strong long-term relationships with customers, vendors, industry peers and team members.

In addition, I am a cost conscious results focused technology professional with a consistent record of achievement for process improvement, cost reduction, right-sizing infrastructure and optimizing performance.

In this space I plan to share my knowledge and thoughts as well as discuss news and opinions on a range of subjects such working with teams of people, Implementing ITIL, Information Technology in general, presenting data, creating presentations, holding effective meetings and other items of interest I have something to say about.

About the Design

Since most information includes a bit of propaganda and since I have some strong feelings about certain subjects, I felt that the look of the old propaganda posters of yesteryear would be appropriate. In addition to Russian and Chinese propaganda posters, I took inspiration from Shepard Fairey posters and the Port Huron Statement cover design. Whether one agrees with the ideological statements the authors were making, or not, one has to admit that there is great visual and emotional impact stemming from these designs.
